  1. Company presentation including the product or service.
  2. Full contact information for the corporate account: name, email, and phone number.
  3. Completion of the form and submission of the requested attachments within the document.

Upon receipt of the requested information, we will conduct an analysis lasting 1 to 5 business days to invite you to present the product or service of interest for inclusion in Duty Free stores.

To be able to purchase our products, you must meet the following requirements:

Every airport outside our country has regulations, norms, or policies that are uncertain to us, so our customers must consider any external airport scenario before making a purchase in our stores to avoid compromising their experience of enjoying our products in the destination country.

In the event of an incident outside our country, return policies or dissatisfaction policies may not allow for recourse, so we appreciate your understanding of the situation.

The requested change cannot be processed.

The provisions governing the activity of duty-free shops as outlined in the General Customs Law and its regulations, specifically Article 365, state that "After purchase withdrawal, no exchanges or money returns are accepted."

At Duty Free stores, we highly respect the laws, norms, and regulations governing our operations, and thus adhere strictly to the stipulated article.

To provide assistance with your invoice refund, please send the request to dutyfree@imas.go.cr and provide the following details:

  1. Purchase invoice (Legible photograph in one of the following formats: PNG, PDF, JPG)
  2. Full name
  3. Passport number
  4. Country of origin

Important notes:

  • The account to which the refund will be made must belong to the person named on the purchase receipt.
  • If the individual is a minor, the procedure will be carried out by the legal guardian, who must provide evidence of their relationship.
  • After providing the requested information, the banking process will take place, with a duration of 30 to 45 business days for the credit to be deposited into the designated account.
